The foundation of training a well-behaved dog begins at this stage. Puppies come into our lives with lots of unconditional love, plenty of wet kisses, and also unwanted behaviors that need to be shaped (nipping, biting, chewing, barking, housetraining, etc).
This online video training is required for clients who will be receiving a new puppy or who currently have a puppy under 16 weeks of age. Homecoming for your new puppy may present some other concerns such as preparing your family with puppies for life with a baby, toddlers, and children.

The level II basic obedience is for puppies 4-6 months of age that have completed Level I. This is a 3-lesson package that will teach your puppy to respond immediately. Motivation and attentiveness are our goals in this level II training. Our initial intent is to get your pups to focus with treat reinforcement and eventually weaning this out.

Level III of puppy training focuses on building recall and other necessary behaviors for puppies moving into the 6-12 month age range that has completed Level II - Basic Obedience.
Let’s talk about RECALL and how to effectively make this happen. You never know, someday RECALL could save your pup’s life.
This is a 3-session training that begins with a short leash in the house and then progresses into using a long leash outside with distractions.
If other training behaviors are of more importance such as over-excitement, lunging, and or barking on a leash, these will be addressed first. Also included are unwanted at-home behaviors

No Dog Too Small focuses on positive reinforcement training only. No e-collars will be used, but we do use GPS Tracking Device for all of our puppies that is connected to their collar.

These skills require dedication, focus, and repetition and therefore will occupy most of the time in this training. However, other training behavior such as not jumping, bolting through doorways, or stealing and begging for food will also be touched upon.
Once you complete the basic obedience, you will be eligible to receive 10% off our 3-day or 5-day weekly dog walking service or 10% off 2 days or more monthly puppy playgroups!

Aggression and Reactivity Training
In this 3-session package, we will determine the context of the aggression. Deborah and her team will help you learn the following:
To safely and confidently handle a dog with aggressive tendencies
To recognize the body language cues that precede aggressive behavior.
Desensitization using classical and or operant conditioning
Providing agency and advocacy for your dog at home and or in public places.
Enrichment and nose work games and activities that help build confidence and calm behavior for your dog.
Aggressive dogs cannot always be cured or fixed, but they can be made easier, calmer, and safer to live with and manage on a day-to-day basis.
